For years, Boys & Girls Clubs of America has looked at different ways to harness the power of our entire movement to create greater awareness of local Clubs and enable them to raise more operating dollars at the same time. Instead of attempting to find a uniform program, BGCA has created a uniform strategy for annual campaigns. An annual campaign is a classic fundraising vehicle that designates a specified period of time to approach all donors for general operating support.

                                                                  5th Annual Banquet

It's time again to celebrate at our 5th Annual Banquet on Saturday, March 24th at the Scheman Building in Ames, IA.

Sponsorship for the Boys & Girls Club of Story County 5th Annual Banquet is an unique opportunity to reach a wide array of people who are concerned with the well being of our local youth of Story County. Through sponsorship of the 2012 Boys & Girls of Story County's 5th Annual Banquet you will lead the way in helping provide a healthy, safe, helpful, fun haven for the youth in our community. Our 4th Annual "Shoot the Rock Around the Clock" fundraiser will be held on Saturday, March 3, 2012. This fundraiser is a twelve hour game of basketball beginning at 8:00 a.m. and ending at 8:00 p.m.  The event will consist of 24 teams playing for one of the twelve hours throughout the day. This is a non-competitive event, open to all skill levels.  Funds will be raised by individuals and businesses sponsoring points scored and three pointers made. There is a team entry fee of $10 per player,  five sponsorship levels and a silent auction, to help raise funds for our Jr. NBA Program.  If you are interested in getting a team together click here for a registration form.
