Theisen's announces new corporate giving program
Shane Skala, right, manager of Theisen's in Ames, presents a $2,000 grant to Boys and Girls Club of story County for their project, Triple Play. Accepting the check on behalf of the Boys and Girls Club is Geff Gescheidler. Triple Play is a program designed to promote health and wellness for Boys and Girls Club members 7 to 18. The program is designed to help youth become knowledgeable of healthy habits, increase their participation in physical activities and engage in positive relationships.
Theisen's home, farm and auto stores are continuing their commitment to the communities they serve by recently announcing a new corporate giving program, "More For Your Community," funded by an endowment. Three Ames organizations are the recipients of grants from this program, the Boys and Girls Club of Story County, Raising Readers in Story County and Lutheran Services of Iowa.
